The brand
The Asymkey brand was specially created to house the world’s only patent for an asymmetric process for writing cryptographic codes on physical media, authored by Yves-Laurent Kayan, and the software that accompanies this patent, in particular for generating codes, redeeming keys and facilitating the use of media.
Asymkey will offer access to its patent and software, as well as its IT development services, in various business verticals.
The philosophy
The project is the fruit of more than ten years’ reflection on a philosophy that combines several aspects: slowness in the execution of tasks, the compartmentalisation of information, physical objects, ownership and the empowerment of individuals in the impact of the management of their data.
In a digital and instantaneous world, we at Asymkey believe it is necessary to take care of and control critical information. Through the patent, users can be sure they are protected from any data compromise and that, thanks to the asymmetry of the master process, no-one else has access to their data.
